On September 26, 2018, eight researchers from the GLOBUS Project visited ECEME (Brazilian Army Command and General Staff College) (https://www.globus.uio.no/). As part of its activities in Brazil, the group visited the Meira Mattos Institute, the only military institution of teaching and research contemplated by the European researchers on this occasion.
The GLOBUS Project visits Brazil to better understand the Brazilian perspective on an interpretation of "global justice". Military and civilian teachers of the IMM contributed to this research agenda, contributing to the debate on issues of Defence and International Security, including Brazil's participation in peace missions. This event meets the strategic goal of internationalization of the PPGCM (Post-Graduate Programme in Military Science), through dialogue with the most varied sectors, all with a view to the scientific contribution of the Brazilian Army to society in general.
