On September 03, 04 and September 5, the 10th National Meeting of the Brazilian Association of Defence Studies took place at the FFLCH (Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences) facilities of USP. ECEME was present with more than 50 members, among them, students (civil and military) of the master's and doctoral courses of the Postgraduate Programme in Military Sciences (PPGCM), military instructors and civilian medical teachers.
It is the largest institutional entourage in the history of the event; proof of the School's commitment to the development of high studies and to the scientific progress of the nation. ECEME (Brazilian Army Command and General Staff College) students and professors presented and coordinated thematic panels and sections on the most varied topics, such as: humanitarian logistics, defence economics, public security, defence management, cyber defence, military history, philosophy and the law of war, terrorism, armed forces, among others. The multiplicity of subjects portrays the complexity inherent in "Defence Studies" and "Military Sciences", as well as the opening of the institution to scholars of different tendencies, currents, formations, scientific and ideological biases.
