On September 27, 2018, ECEME was visited by Dr Vinicius Mariano de Carvalho, Senior Lecturer, and Professor Michael Rainsborough, Director of the Department of War Studies, both from King's College London. During the meeting, the academics have discussed the memorandum of understanding KLC-ECEME and the initiatives for internationalization of the Post-Graduate Programme in Military Sciences of the Meira Mattos Institute. The project "Geopolitical thinking and its influence on public policies, defence strategies and development in Brazil" was also discussed in partnership with Dr Tássio Franchi and Dr Hélio Caetano Farias.
