On November 30, 2018. An article from the teachers and students of the PPGCM/IMM / ECEME won an award from the Military University Institute of Portugal (www.ium.pt). The article "Taxonomy of interstate conflicts: is South America a peaceful region?", Written by PhD Tassio Franchi, Col Cav Eduardo Migon and Col E.M. Roberto Jiménez (Ecuadorian Army), received the prize "Scientific Research in Military Sciences - 2018" in the area of "Study of Crises and Armed Conflicts". The award shows the quality of the work developed in the PPGCM/IMM, which collaborate for the discussion of the military sciences in Brazil and abroad. The article can be read here.
